The Open Water Diver course is the world’s most popular scuba certification. Completing this course at Mabul Backpackers means you’ll be trained by seasoned professionals who know these waters intimately. Once certified, you can dive anywhere in the world to a depth of 18 meters.
What You’ll Learn:

Knowledge Development: Understand the principles of scuba diving. You can study at your own pace on our deck, enjoying the sea breeze between sessions.

Confined Water Dives: Practice essential skills in shallow water to build your confidence and muscle memory.

Open Water Dives: You will complete four open water dives. This is where you put your skills to use while exploring the world-class reefs surrounding Mabul Island.
